Eurotech joins the LoRa Alliance as Adopter Member

Eurotech, a leading provider of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technologies and Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, today announced that they became Adopter Member of the LoRa Alliance.

The LoRa Alliance is an open, non-profit association of members initiated by industry leaders with a mission to standardize Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) being deployed around the world to enable Internet of Things (IoT), machine-to-machine (M2M), smart city, and industrial applications.

The Alliance members collaborate to drive the global success of the LoRa protocol (LoRaWAN), by sharing knowledge and experience to guarantee interoperability between operators in one open global standard.

“Analysts predict billions of Internet of Things (IoT) devices coming online in the near future and when it comes to what technology will enable their connectivity, LPWAN are well positioned as a strong candidate.” said Marco Carrer, CTO at Eurotech.

“Among the LPWAN alternatives, LoRa is quickly gaining traction and we are really pleased to show our support by joining the LoRa Alliance and collaborating towards this exciting future.”
