LoRaWAN® in a Box Workshop is a hands-on event for technologists who are interested in setting up a portable private LoRaWAN® network. The workshop features DIY Hardware Kit which allows participants to assemble themselves a gateway, setup a network server and an application server, and also setup a dashboard for visualization. Attendees are made to connect a standard IoT sensing device and interpret the same on a custom dashboard. The software used in the workshop is fully open source and hardware is open to a large extent as well. The workshop is expected to impart understanding on developing a full stack LoRaWAN® Architecture for IoT Applications at large.
Workshop Two

Workshop attendees will learn about industry leaders Yokogawa, MultiTech and Digimondo and their offerings of industrial IoT sensors, LoRaWAN® network infrastructure and LoRaWAN® backend plus data management respectively. You will do hands-on exercises with real industrial equipment – using Yokogawa’s Sushi Sensor (providing data enabling preventive machine maintenance by measuring temperature and vibrations) including onboarding sensor onto MultiTech’s LoRaWAN® network, connecting with Digimondo’s LoRaWAN® backend, and visualising sensor data. This will provide an understanding of real industrial LoRaWAN®-based equipment use and the related relevant processes.
4.00pm – 5.00pmSemtech - Workshop on LoRa Basics™ MAC – Limited to 20 Participants. Participants must provide their own laptop.
