Novatel Wireless, Inc. today announces that Enfora, Inc., a Novatel Wireless company, iGPS Company and Numerex Corp have been named winners in the 2011 Connected World Value Chain Awards in the Supply Chain and Logistics category, for the combined implementation of the world’s first real-time pallet tracking service.
iGPS operates the world’s first pallet rental service to provide lightweight, 100 percent recyclable plastic pallets with embedded radio frequency identification (RFID) tags. iGPS has also deployed Enfora Spider® AT GPS asset tracking devices throughout its pallet fleet. The solution is enabled by Enfora’s smart devices and N4A™ Intelligent Technology platform and Numerex WorldPass™ global network service.
