Digital Highway Wireless Solutions Signs on to the nPhase Alliance Partner Program

Creates M2M Management Portals Utilizing the nPhase ONE Developer Platform for Customers on the Verizon Wireless Mobile Network

nPhase, a Verizon Wireless/Qualcomm joint venture, and Digital Highway Wireless Solutions (DHWS) today announced that DHWS has signed on to the nPhase ONE developer program and through this relationship has created private label M2M management portals for their first two M2M customers on the Verizon Wireless mobile network.

These customers are:

  • Vectren Corporation, a gas and electric utility serving one million gas customers in Indiana and Ohio and 150,000 electric customers in Southern Indiana
  • Tru-Fast Wireless, one of the fastest growing providers of credit and debit card payment processing services in the US, working largely within vending markets to provide payment processing as well as wireless communication

The M2M management portals are web-based and were developed by DHWS to meet client requirements utilizing the nPhase ONE developer platform. DHWS consumed nPhase Unified Web Services APIs for provisioning management of client devices deployed on the Verizon Wireless mobile network. DHWS’ proven system integration and M2M development skills, combined with a business focus on nPhase ONE, has resulted in DHWS being selected as an nPhase Alliance Partner.

DHWS and nPhase have provided Vectren with the ability to effectively deploy and manage a large volume of vehicle-installed cellular devices. The electronic delivery and completion of work orders is critical to us and we rely heavily on DHWS and nPhase to provide their expert delivery of products and services to ensure our field resources are technically optimized,” noted Tom Vargo, director of Strategic Technologies for Vectren.

They have been true business partners.

Utilizing the nPhase ONE developer platform, DHWS is creating a custom Wireless Network Services (WNS) portal for Tru-Fast Wireless to enhance usability and management across their client network,” said Ed Mann, CEO for Tru-Fast.

The portal will be offered as a value-add for Tru-Fast Wireless’s clients to allow better management and monitoring of lines of service and M2M device usage. DHWS is the first to offer building custom portals based on client needs. WNS will allow Tru-Fast Wireless’s clients access to mass configuration of Verizon rate plans and related services, monitoring of cellular data usage, and access to a wide variety of service related data and change needs.

As a full service systems integrator in delivering end-to-end M2M solutions, DHWS is in an ideal position to leverage the nPhase ONE developer program,” said Steve Pazol, president of nPhase. “The quality and speed of their services has been impressive and we are delighted to be working with them as an Alliance Partner.

nPhase brings brilliant engineering innovation and position in the M2M ecosystem,” said Brian Rosema, vice president of Sales and Marketing at DHWS.

Through our partnership, DHWS is in an improved position to deliver high quality M2M systems integration services on a global scale.
