Companies collaborate to integrate platform technologies to advance intelligent building integration
Mercury Security Corporation, a leader in open platforms for access control and Tridium, the leader in open platforms for device to enterprise integration and building automation today announced a technology partnership to integrate their respective platforms. The collaboration of the two companies enables device level integration between building automation and security functions based on an open architecture that allows for new levels of intelligent building solutions.
Applying Mercury’s technology with Tridium’s Niagara Framework, provides building owners and facility management solutions that integrates these once disparate systems and devices over an end-to-end IP-based infrastructure for any type of building.
The two companies will be demonstrating the technology at the ISC West conference in Las Vegas. The solution will be commercially available through Mercury and Tridium partners later this year.
Frank Gasztonyi, Co-Founder and CTO of, Mercury Security said:
“Our work to bridge the security side of a building with the operational systems is enhanced by the Niagara Framework and quickly enabled us to develop and deliver to our OEM partners a robust solution that further ties access control into all the environmental systems including HVAC, lighting and more.”
Marc Petock, Tridium’s Vice President Global Marketing and Communications commented, “We are very excited about this partnership with Mercury because they are an ideal partner; on the technical side both companies are dedicated to open platforms and we embrace the support of integration and interoperability of disparate systems and devices. On the business side, our technologies help to deliver better buildings—ones that are smarter, use less energy, are more efficient, have lower operating costs, are safer and contribute to a sustainable environment.”
