ThingWorx Continues Global Expansion Through Value-Added Reseller Partnership with InVMA

InVMA to resell ThingWorx and provide Machine-to-Machine and Internet of Things system integration services in the UK and Ireland.

ThingWorx™ today announced a reseller alliance with InVMA, an agile and experienced company formed by the directors of an advanced industrial automation integration company with offices in Chesterfield, UK. This partnership allows InVMA to resell, develop solutions for, and support the ThingWorx software platform: expanding the reach of ThingWorx-powered Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things solutions with their customers and meeting the emerging requirements of new markets.

This partnership combines InVMA’s system integration business experience in real-time industrial computing and automation together with ThingWorx, the industry’s first application enablement platform designed to accelerate the development and deployment of innovative M2M applications for the emerging connected world. InVMA’s solutions will cover M2M industries including manufacturing, utilities, facilities, energy and emerging Internet of Things businesses, such as smart cities, smart infrastructure and smart transportation.

“We are pleased to announce our partnership with ThingWorx, a company whose unique and powerful technology enables rapid solution deployment for M2M. We have sought a platform like this to underpin our business evolution,” stated Patrick Nash, Managing Director of InVMA.

“With our many years of experience in connectivity with devices, equipment and integrated business systems, we are well-positioned to fully exploit the advantages and functionality of the ThingWorx platform to drive continuous innovation within our customer base.”

“We are pleased to have such talented partners to help grow our international business,” stated Ken Forster, Head of EMEA for ThingWorx.

“InVMA’s rich experience in industrial, remote plant and Internet technologies, combined with its local presence in UK and Ireland, make them an ideal partner to drive growth of the emerging connected world. With the predicted 50 billion connected ‘things’ by 2020, we believe there will need to be at least 5 million applications created to drive value.”

“InVMA’s industry and market focus, together with the ThingWorx rapid application enablement platform, will be instrumental in delivering this value.”
