Premier Wireless Solutions to Distribute Maestro Products to Global Customer Base

Addition of Maestro GPS Modules and Cellular Modems provides Premier Wireless Solutions’ customers with access to complementary embedded solutions.

Premier Wireless Solutions (PWS), today announced it has signed a global distribution agreement with Maestro Wireless Solutions (Maestro), a Telefield International (Holdings) company and a leading manufacturer of industrial-grade M2M modems and gateways, as well as GPS receivers.

PWS is a value added distributor and solutions provider with a full spectrum of RF technology products, systems integration services, test and certification services, and wireless data plans to enable customers to incorporate wireless capabilities to their products. With this new partnership, PWS will add to its portfolio Maestro’s extensive line of industrial modems and integration services for the Machine-to-Machine (M2M) markets, as well as its very successful GPS module product line.

Every Maestro modem uses as its core the same Sierra Wireless embedded modules already distributed by PWS. Maestro solutions can therefore be used as low-risk proof-of-concepts, enabling technology for first generation solutions for customers considering embedded wireless modems. This will provide customers with complete wireless solutions engineered to their specific needs without the time and cost of an actual development.

“Premier Wireless Solutions is pleased to add Maestro to our offerings,” commented Vince Giacomini, CEO of Premier Wireless Solutions.
“With a broad range of connected devices and GPS receivers, we feel Maestro is well positioned to allow PWS to service our existing GPS customers and gain new customers with the modems and tracking devices.”

Tom Gricius, CSO of Premier Wireless Solutions, added:

“Indeed, Maestro’s family of products is a natural complement to our embedded offering.”

“After experiencing four years of constant growth since we entered the North American marketplace, we are pleased to conclude this agreement with PWS. It will further strengthen our distribution network and bring on-board a design-led sales team with an optimally synergistic technical and business expertise,” said Olivier Bernard, Maestro’s Vice-President of Business Development.

“For example, Premier Wireless Solutions having distributed GPS technology for over 13 years, it is a natural fit for our GPS modules and in the best interest of their customers, so that they may continue to offer them new and innovative GPS solutions.”
