m2mAIR Module Management service delivers deep insight into the module, directly from the Jasper Platform interface.
Jasper Wireless and Telit Wireless Solutions today announced their partnership to deliver m2mAIR Module Management services directly through the Jasper Platform to applications using m2mAIR-ready Telit modules and operating on the Telit m2mAIR network.
Module Management is the M2M industry’s first industrial scale Mobile Device Management (MDM) service based on the communication module. Module Management allows customers to gain remote access to a set of diagnostics and troubleshooting capabilities generally unavailable today to most M2M adopters. Its resources include easy-to-use services to manage module inventory, perform mobile network diagnostics, manage quality of experience, test IP and hardware, and perform module reset.
Module Management services, to be initially offered to non-US operators, are delivered through the Jasper Control Center and require no device-side application integration. They are supported by tens of millions of Telit modules already deployed. The cloud-based Jasper Platform is widely recognized as the first choice for enterprises managing connected services. To date over 2500 enterprises have standardized on the Jasper platform across 15 mobile operator groups worldwide.
Cindy Patterson, Chief Revenue Officer, Jasper, said:
“By integrating m2mAIR Module Management into our platform, we’re able to offer m2mAIR users an even richer set of tools to manage and control their M2M application.”
“Module Management is an ideal complement to the network and subscription management available through the Jasper Control Center platform, allowing enterprises to scale their deployment of connected devices quickly and profitably globally.”
“We are pleased to be partnered with the world’s leading communications platform for M2M,” said Omer Pesach, Chief Technology Officer for Telit m2mAIR. “Together with the Jasper platform, m2mAIR Module Management is another way Telit m2mAIR customers get a better M2M experience.”
