SkyWave Mobile Communications, a global provider of satellite and satellite-cellular based communications for the machine-to-machine (M2M) market, announced today that it has joined the M2M Alliance, a coalition of companies created to promote M2M technologies and solutions.
The M2M sector has seen tremendous growth and is expected to continue this trend well into the coming decade. Joining an alliance opens up opportunities for companies in the M2M sector to build partnerships that promote cooperative development while building a solid M2M business case by focusing on a specific aspect of the market.
