PodM2M, a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) specializing in global IoT/M2M data connectivity solutions, will launch a complete connectivity solution designed for systems integrators and developers of telematics solutions at Mobile World Congress Americas this week.
The new advanced solution is based on PodM2M’s 20 years’ experience in the IoT connectivity sector, particularly focused on remote, mission critical applications that require maximum resilience. In addition to Pod’s global multi-network coverage on 600+ networks in 185 countries, and “Best Signal” capability whereby the SIM connects to the network with maximum signal strength, avoiding “steering” to preferred networks with a potentially weaker signal, the new solution includes Pod’s recently launched hierarchical billing platform, Pod Billing, and advanced security solution, Pod Protect.
Users of the new solution will benefit from up to three levels of hierarchical billing as part of the connectivity package for their telematics application, allowing them to manage resellers and distributors with ease, and quickly create and bill value-added products and services to generate additional recurring revenue. They will also be able to deploy applications globally without the usual security concerns, since the solution includes advanced network security, with whitelisting of IPs for secure management of users, continuous threat detection via a probe on the network and the option of a direct network connection which avoids routing data over public channels.
