NewCore Wireless, the leading full-service hosted wireless technology provider for carriers, announced today it has partnered with VisTracks, Inc., a leader in providing advanced machine-to-machine (M2M) solutions, to provide SnapTraq™ asset tracking managed services to its carrier partners. This collaboration will make it quicker and easier for NewCore Wireless’ carrier partners to enter the lucrative M2M arena.
It is expected that by 2014 there will be 428 million cumulative mobile M2M connections worldwide (Infonetics Research). To address this explosive growth, SnapTraq™, based on VisTracks’ sophisticated analytics and rules-based development platform, provides an extremely easy to use asset monitoring portal that caters to businesses needing to track and receive alerts for moving assets such as trucks, vans and trailers, or more stationary assets such as farm or construction equipment. The service is hosted by VisTracks and no software is required on the customer’s computer except for a browser. SnapTraq is designed to be sold by wireless carriers to their small-medium business customers without requiring in-depth expertise nor significant capital investment.
