Eseye marks the world’s first large scale deployment of true Multi IMSI SIMs with Gilbarco Veeder-Root deal.
To coincide with its Multi IMSI release, Eseye is pleased to announce a landmark partnership deal with leaders in fuel dispenser technology and integrated fuelling solutions, Gilbarco Veeder-Root.
Gilbarco Veeder-Root is a Danaher company with constantly changing business needs. As a rapidly expanding global solutions provider, its operations rely on secure, connected devices and a connectivity supplier who understands urgency. The collaboration with Eseye will see the large scale rollout of the M2M specialist’s newly-released HERA601 3G & Wi-Fi router, and the world’s first true Multi IMSI SIM across thousands of major forecourt retailers. Eseye’s connectivity solution with failover transmits key critical data from the tank, dispenser and point-of-sale and returns this via a highly secure virtual private network.
With a steadily growing base of Eseye-managed connections, along with the lifetime flexibility of the AnyNet™ Multi IMSI SIMs, Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s Operations Manager, Robb Claxton says the choice of partner is largely down to Eseye’s commitment to cost-efficiency and its outstanding technical support.
“Having a focused M2M supplier was very important to me. We needed one who knew the field intimately and could give options and ideas to take it forward; I know I can pick up the phone and get an immediate response from Eseye. The Multi IMSI is a great feature of the AnyNet™ – for a while now I’ve been very interested in a Multi IMSI solution that’s country-independent and with a flat cost that we can sell on to our customers without any hidden surprises. Fundamentally it’s about providing a one size fits all connection that works – and when it doesn’t work I need someone to tell me why and to fix it.”
– Robb Claxton, Operations Manager, Gilbarco Veeder-Root
The partnership is the latest in a line of significant deals under new Sales VP Fred de Haro, who joined the firm in January.
“Our partnership is a huge milestone in our relationship with Gilbarco Veeder-Root. We’ve been working with them for nearly three years now and this deal is a testament to the excellent service Eseye has provided. We’ve shown we’re a continuous innovator, a reliable and trusted organisation that understands Gilbarco’s business and the demands of the industry. The AnyNet™ Multi IMSI SIM is unique and a great fit for Gilbarco Veeder-Root, providing flexibility and cost efficiency for its long lifecycle solutions.”
– Fred de Haro, Sales VP EMEA, Eseye
The deal comes as Eseye announces the launch of its Multi IMSI option, which will be a feature of all future AnyNet™ SIMs. Manufactured by Eseye’s preferred SIM supplier, Morpho, the AnyNet™ comes with Eseye’s unique IMSI provisioning tool. Eseye provisioning allows clients to manage networks in all global locations with over the air (OTA) reprogramming thus removing the need for additional site visits, while the single SKU ensures SIMs are easily adopted into manufacturing for global deployments. No other mobile network tie-in assures Eseye’s pricing benchmark promise.
Ian Marsden, CTO, Eseye:
“As part of the Eseye enterpriseM2M+ platform, this new AnyNet™ SIM is the world’s first true Multi IMSI SIM that offers up to 99 reprogrammable IMSIs on just one SIM. While our standard AnyNet™ is the perfect global roaming solution, Multi IMSI is an outstanding future proof solution – ready for whatever changes lie ahead.”
“Gilbarco Veeder-Root will use our embedded AnyNet™ with Multi IMSI to connect and facilitate wet stock management, which guarantees exceptional security. AnyNet™ Multi IMSI connectivity ensures our clients’ solutions are always reachable, while the embedded SIM is virtually impossible to locate, so not only is the data stream secure, it’s also physically impenetrable.”
The Multi IMSI is a future proof connectivity solution, particularly suited to the needs of global manufacturers in the fuelling solutions industry, where devices have long lifecycles. The deal with Gilbarco Veeder-Root will see the two firms demonstrate best practice in petrol forecourt solutions.
