Oberthur Technologies (OT), a world leader in digital security solutions for the mobility space, today announced that Device Cloud Networks (DCN) has selected its M-Connect solution to remotely manage the mobile connectivity subscriptions of M2M devices across its mobile network operator alliance in service of its OEM and enterprise customers.
OT’s M-Connect solution has been designed to securely load a subscription in M2M devices over-the-air, not only at the first activation but also during the entire device lifecycle. DCN will integrate M-Connect to its comprehensive M2M service offer to manage global connectivity of M2M devices and will address the need of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), such as car makers or smart meter manufacturers, to efficiently streamline manufacturing, distribution, and device lifecycle management. DCN will commercialize the solution globally this year commencing with North America and Europe.
